Every model is different and we do our best to price your design based on a variety of factors such as the estimated time to complete as well as the complexity of your project. We strive to work with you very closely on your project to ensure a service that is both streamlined and accurate.

To reduce the amount of revisions and receive an accurate quote, please be as detailed as possible with design requests. Any design elements excluded from the initial request may be charged for additionally.

Generally, we do not provide detailed quotes for custom designs. If you’re ordering multiple parts or designs and would like an itemized quote, please let us know.

For custom CAD orders under $75, we require full payment before we begin the design process. For larger orders, we can begin the process after receiving a 60% deposit. The remaining 40% can be paid once the final previews are approved but before the file is sent or printed.

Please keep in mind orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once the design process has begun. Please ensure your idea is finalized before confirming the order with payment.

The quoted rate includes one free minor revision up to our artists’ discretion — which means no overhauls of the initial design specifications. Requests for any changes beyond this minor revision will require additional billing.

Requests for modifying existing models made by another designer will need to be approved prior to quoting or billing and may require additional fees due to mistakes or incompatibilities in the original model. Because the model was not created by our design team, it may not be modified easily to the extent requested or may require additional time to complete.

Accepted formats for pre-existing models are: .stl, .obj, .sldprt, .blend, and .fbx.

If you intend on printing your file with us directly after the design process, we will provide a small discount on the design.

If you would like access to the file before or after printing, or decide you wouldn’t like it printed at all, there is a small fee to get access to the file for personal use. You will also need to sign a contract to ensure you understand the file rights.

If you would like access to the file for other reasons, such as for commercial use, please let us know. We are happy to negotiate an agreement for a variety of uses at an affordable rate.

If you’re ordering a fully custom design from us, we won’t be able to quote it for 3D printing until the model has been completed. We may be able to estimate a range if you know the dimensions, but this price is only an idea and may not reflect the final quote.

If you’d like to modify an existing file with us, you are welcome to request a quote for the initial file to get an idea for the printing quote after customizations. However, this will not truly reflect the price of the final quote until we have completed the model and can price it according to its mass and volume.
